“Dignity in Every Drop: Join Us in Ending Period Poverty”

“Dignity in Every Drop: Join Us in Ending Period Poverty”As we approach this year’s Menstrual Hygiene Day, we are reminded that menstruation is not a choice—but access to safe, hygienic menstrual products should be. Yet, for many girls and young women in Kenya’s informal settlements, managing their periods remains a monthly struggle marked by shame, stigma, and missed opportunities.

At HKSAI, we believe that no girl should have to skip school, stay in isolation, or compromise her health because she cannot afford sanitary pads. That is why we are launching our Sanitary Pads Drive—a campaign to ensure that every girl we reach can manage her period with dignity, confidence, and safety. This year’s theme, “Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld,” aligns with our mission to break taboos, promote menstrual education, and provide sustainable solutions for period care. We call upon partners, individuals, institutions, and community leaders to support this drive. Your contribution—whether in kind, financial, or by simply spreading the word—will help us reach thousands of girls who deserve better.Let us stand together for menstrual equity. Because when girls thrive, communities rise.Visit www.hopeksai.org to support or use our pay bills.
