Yesterday, First-Track Mentors, in partnership with Hope for Kenya Slums Adolescent Initiative (HKSAI), hosted a successful Menstrual Health Day event at Tigityo Secondary School, in Nandi County.This impactful event brought together a total of 803 students 400 girls and 403 boys, and featured a variety of meaningful activities designed to educate, empower, and inspire.Highlights of the day included: An inspirational mentorship session aimed at fostering positive change in educationA menstrual hygiene awareness talk, emphasizing the importance of dignity and health for adolescent girlsDonation of sanitary pads to support girls to stay in schoolA tree planting exercise to promote environmental conservation and sustainability
