HKSAI Opens Applications for TVET Scholarship Program (HEEP) to Empower Vulnerable Youth

Nairobi, Kenya – The Hope for Kenya Slum Adolescent Initiative (HKSAI) has officially announced the opening of applications for its highly anticipated TVET Scholarship Program, operating under the Hope through Education & Empowerment Program (HEEP). This initiative is designed to provide critical support to vulnerable adolescents and youth residing in informal settlements across Nairobi and Uasin Gishu counties, who aspire to pursue vocational training, entrepreneurship, and make a positive impact in their communities but lack the necessary financial resources.

A Pathway to a Brighter Future

HKSAI's mission is to advance equitable access to education and healthcare for adolescents and youths in Kenya's informal settlements. The HEEP Scholarship Program embodies this commitment by offering a comprehensive package of support, including:

  • Financial Support: Assistance for TVET, college, and university education.
  • Market-Driven Sponsorship: Sponsorship in technical courses aligned with current market demands.
  • Mentorship & Personal Development: Guidance and support to foster personal growth and leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurship & Skills Growth: Real opportunities to develop entrepreneurial ventures and enhance practical skills.

This program targets young individuals aged 13-25 who demonstrate a strong drive to achieve their dreams despite financial barriers.
